Tammi, a former teacher and library media specialist, loves to share her passion for reading and writing with students through her educational, entertaining, and interactive sessions.
For kindergartners and first graders, Tammi focuses on how books take people on adventures. For second and third graders, she explores finding ideas, shaping ideas into a story, and turning a story into a book. For fourth and fifth graders, she shares her top ten writing secrets which will help students create stories of their own. If, however, a writing workshop as opposed to a presentation for your older students is preferred, Tammi offers that option as well.

TESTIMONIALS FOR TAMMI'S IN-PERSON VISITS:
“I had heard from other librarians in my district how wonderful Tammi Sauer’s presentations are, and she did not disappoint! Her boundless energy, enthusiasm, and creativity kept her audiences captivated. Each presentation was grade-appropriate, interactive, and relevant as she shared how reading and writing go hand-in-hand. Tammi obviously loves what she does, and it shines through every word. Best of all, her books are gifts that keep on giving; they are absolutely delightful, and students of all ages can’t get enough of them. If you’re looking for a fun, effective author to visit your school, Tammi Sauer is an exceptional choice!”
~ Karen Berry, LMS at Hedgcoxe Elementary, Plano, TX
"Tammi Sauer is so incredibly dynamic and interactive that our district decided we must get to visit us again as soon as possible! Her presentations are geared towards different age groups and she always includes her student audience as part of the visit, often encouraging students to act aloud portions of her award-winning picture books. I heard students commenting, “She’s so funny!” or “I love that book!” as she described how she progresses through the writing process. The schools she visited this semester told me that their students truly took to heart Tammi’s advice for becoming a better writer and are applying her strategies to their own manuscripts. Tammi will knock your socks off with her energetic multimedia presentation and her obvious joy for young readers!"
~ Dr. Lori Franklin, Library Media Coordinator for Olathe Public Schools, Olathe, Kansas
"Tammi Sauer is a personable, fun and engaging presenter who has entertaining and informative presentations for every age group. She is full of energy and keeps the students in the palm of her hand. Our principal reported glowing compliments!"
~ Marsha Manners, LMS at Heritage Elementary, Edmond, OK
TESTIMONIALS FOR TAMMI'S VIRTUAL VISITS:
"Tammi Sauer made a stop at our school via a Zoom visit. The excitement was electric in the halls as many classes were able to simultaneously have a close encounter with one of their favorite kid-lit heroes. Even our principal swept into the library to express her overwhelming support for this occasion. Tammi connects with all ages and offers quality content that's both entertaining and educational."
~Janet Bass, LMS at Oklahoma Christian School, Edmond, OK
"Tammi Sauer's energy made it seem like she was totally in the room. My 4th graders loved every minute of it."
~ Gaye Sanders, 4th grade teacher, Mustang Trails Elementary, Mustang, OK
"I recently had the privilege of hosting Tammi Sauer virtually to visit my kindergarten students. This was my second time to book Tammi for my school. I had her come a few years ago in person and quickly saw what a captivating entertainer she was. She is smart, funny, and has an amazing ability to connect with the students. When she visited my campus in person she saw Kinder-6th grade and she was quickly a crowd favorite. So, this year when our kindergarten students were doing a play about Old MacDonald, I knew I had to have Tammi visit with them virtually and share The Farm that Mac Built. She presented over Zoom and I was amazed at how she still had the ability to work the crowd and charm her audience. Tammi is kind, down to earth, and SO easy to work with. She continues to publish new, highly entertaining children’s books, and after seeing her this year and a few years ago, I realize that she stays relevant and on top of student interests and needs. You can’t go wrong with a visit with this amazing author. Teachers and students of all ages will adore her!"
~Ruth Wetherington, LMS at Merriman Park Elementary, Dallas, TX
